Recently, most major media outlets across the web were reporting that Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston, was going to be put to death on Wednesday. The prevailing story was that the young woman was going to have the “plug pulled” on Wednesday, February 11, the three year anniversary of her mother’s death.
According to Us Weekly, the family is furious about numerous reports about their plans to pull the plug on Bobbi Kristina. She is currently in a medically-induced coma and is considere brain dead. Doctors are saying that there isn’t much that she can do.
Page Six reported that Cissy Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother, wanted to pull the plug on the anniversary of Whitney’s death. TMZ also reported that Bobby Brown made the decision to pull the plug after realizing that his daughter wasn’t coming back.
According to a source within the family, there is “no truth to it at all.” So, you can either look at this as he-say/she-say or a confirmation that the media really has lost it’s mind. The statement from the family doesn’t provide much guidance on exactly what the family is going to do.
Here is what the family has to say. It’s hard to know from this statement what the family plans to do.
“The false reports that continue to appear in print and on the Internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time,” the statement said. “In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the (British) Daily Mail, citing police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention.
“The desire to be ‘first’ has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy.”
