Appearing on FOX News Channel on Sunday, conservative pundit and actor Ben Stein blasted
President Obama as not only a racist, but the most racist president America has ever seen.
Stein began by taking Obama and Democrats to task for refusing to implement even more budget cuts than the ones they’d allowed during negotiations with Republicans.
“The [budget]cuts have been absolutely minuscule, absolutely tiny unbelievably small,” Stein said. “And much more important has been the fact the Republicans by virtue of supporting the policies that stopped the crash in 2008-2009 from being a Great Depression stopped a real economic catastrophe. The Republicans are the ones who save this economy, not the ones that ruin this economy and as I say, whatever little tiny cuts they made here or there in welfare programs — they were tiny, absolutely tiny.”
Then Stein bemoaned the fact that the government subsidized health care instead of implementing even more budget cuts. In his opinion, subsidizing health care was racist since it divided the electorate. Somehow, Stein made the leap that Pres. Obama is a racist because he signed the Affordable Care Act into law.
“Look, by the way, let me back up a second, Shannon,” he added. “What are they talking about? More people are on food stamps than ever. More people are getting welfare than ever. What cuts are they talking about? And what cuts are they talking about. More people getting government subsidized health care than ever. What cuts are they talking about? It’s all a way to racialize voting in this country. This president is the most racist president there has ever been in America. He is purposely trying to use race to divide Americans. Anyone who investigates it even a little bit knows it’s hogwash.”
Maybe Ben Stein needs to study history. If he did, he’d know that America has had five presidents who were members of the KKK. But his racism is one of the reasons that history is taught in a biased way. It’s done to brainwash people like Ben Stein to make inaccurate statements in public.
