While turning up the heat in the seven-page spread, Rihanna opened up on her skills in the kitchen for the foodie issue on sale Thursday.
Staying true to her Bajan roots, the “Pour It Up” singer revealed her specialties include rum punch. But she’s also pulled classic Caribbean dishes like cod fish cakes, salt fish and garbanzo bean salad with a unique twist.
She also told of how she came to reinvent a classic comfort food.
“This was discovered by accident due to our gas running out halfway through making the original dish,” she told the mag about her Mac A Rih recipe, which is her own take on macaroni and cheese. “I fell in love with the taste and texture, so I’ve been making it to perfection ever since.”
Like her cuisine, her sensual photos are just about as close to perfection as one could get. Then again, the 26-year-old singer knows a thing or two about taking memorable snapshots.
